Credit Card Verification
How card verification fits into the ONYX KYC flow.
Draft — Not Yet Published
This page is a working draft pending review by counsel. The information below is provisional and may change before it becomes binding. Do not rely on it as the final statement of ONYX’s card-verification policy.
Why ONYX verifies cards
Card verification is part of ONYX’s identity and anti-fraud controls and works alongside the broader KYC check. Final language pending counsel review.
When verification is requested
The platform may request card verification at first use of a card, when adding a new card, or in response to risk signals. Exact triggers are pending compliance sign-off.
What you will be asked for
Verification typically involves a masked image of the card and matching identity information. The full list of accepted documents and how to upload them will be published here once finalized.
How long verification takes
Most verifications complete automatically within minutes. Manual review windows will be documented here.
If verification is declined
If a card cannot be verified, you may be asked for additional information or to use a different funding method. The appeal path will be linked here.
