Understanding the odds
Favorite = negative (−150: bet $150 to win $100). Underdog = positive (+130: bet $100 to win $130). −110 is the standard spread juice. Decimal odds: 2.50 means $100 returns $250 total.

Types of bets
Pick the winner — simplest bet. Chiefs -150 vs Raiders +130. The favorite must win; the underdog can win by any margin. NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL/Soccer.
Favorite must win by more than X (Chiefs -3.5 → win by 4+); underdog covers by losing within X or winning. Half-points (-3.5) never push. NFL/NBA.
Combined score over/under a set number. Chiefs/Raiders O/U 47.5. All sports; soccer usually 2.5 goals.
Fixed 1.5 spread (MLB/NHL). Favorite must win by 2+; underdog can lose by 1 or win. Favorite pays better than its moneyline.
Home Win | Draw | Away Win — three separate prices, pick one. The draw is the classic new-bettor trap.
Half-goal lines remove the draw. 0.5 → your team must win outright; 1.5 → win by 2+.
Combine 2–12 bets; all must win. One loss = whole parlay loses. Odds multiply. A push/void leg drops out and the parlay continues at the next bracket.
A parlay where you move the spread in your favor (NFL +6/6.5/7, NBA +4/4.5/5). Pays less than a straight parlay.
Bet a season-long outcome (Super Bowl, NBA Finals). Stake locked until it concludes; odds move all season.
Individual performance — O/U (Mahomes 275.5 pass yds), Yes/No (LeBron triple-double), Anytime scorer (Haaland to score).
Wager in-play; odds shift in real time and markets open/close constantly during the event.

Sport-specific rules
Official after 55 min. Postponed = No Action (refund). OT counts for full game & totals; not for halves unless specified. Exact-spread push = refund. Home team listed second.
Pro official after 43 min, college after 35. OT counts for full-game totals. Exact-spread push = refund.
Official after 5 innings (4.5 if home leads). Totals/run line need 9 (8.5 if home leads). Extra innings count. Suspended = settled at last complete inning.
Official after 55 min. OT & shootout count for moneyline/puck line. OT does NOT count for totals unless "including OT". Home listed second.
Official after 75 min (not 90). ET/penalties do NOT count unless "including ET". Home listed at top. All bets before kickoff.
All bets final once confirmed. Price locked at placement. ONYX may limit/refuse any wager. Winning tickets expire 60 days after event date. Parlay void/push reduces to next bracket.
